Dear Early Childhood Education Families, 

Welcome to the 2022/23 school year. And to our new families, welcome to the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC), where everyone matters! We are excited about the new school year as we focus on relationships and fostering a positive school community where everyone (students, families, and staff) feels safe, supported, and valued. 

We recognize the importance of developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support every child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our engaging environment allows children to learn through appropriate play that encourages the discovery of their interests, abilities, and limitations. Each day, you will hear about the delightful experiences we have shared with your child. We want your child to come home bursting with joy to tell you about the wonders they have discovered and their adventures throughout the day. We will encourage your child to ask questions and explore their ideas while documenting what they learn through play as they become independent learners and thinkers. We also recognize that you are your child’s first teacher and that you play an important role in their development and learning! We look forward to building a strong partnership between home and school.
