Nursing & Student Health Program
Our district Nurse, Christine Nelson, oversees the health programs at each of our school sites. This means reviewing health plans for our students with medical needs, supporting vision and hearing screening, collaborating on dental screenings, supporting with training staff on particular medical needs of students, and more. In addition, every school site has a full-time health clerk, who is trained to support students with their school-based health needs.
