Parent Town Hall - for those interested in committing to a full-year of distance learning

Good evening!

You are receiving this e-mail because you told us you were interested in the "Distance Learning" option for your student(s) for the full 2020-2021 school year.

As we begin planning to reopen our schools to students, we realize there are families who would prefer a flexible, online option instead of returning physically to campus.  LGSD is excited to offer a fully online, distance learning instructional program for families who desire a more personalized and flexible learning experience for their children through virtual learning.

Lemon Grove School District will provide TK-8th families with a 100% online educational experience taught by fully credentialed teachers, using innovative and creative methods to engage students. We will also provide each student with a computer device and internet access for those who are unable to secure it for themselves.

Families will need to commit for the 2020-2021 school year.  However, we understand that from time to time, family circumstances change. Transfers to a school offering on campus learning will be considered on a case by case basis, however no guarantee can be made.

Please join us for one of the mandatory parent information sessions we are offering next week. The content will be the same for each meeting and you only need to pick one meeting to attend - the one that works best for your schedule.

Please complete this survey to let us know which meeting you plan to attend and if you have any questions you would want us to answer during the meeting.  -----> https://forms.gle/USBUNjQDiYJ8yRF2A
