| Tiana Barton |
| Chief Business Official (CBO) |
| Confidential Administrative Secretary II | Tabitha Scarborough |
| Tiana leads the Business Services Division with a focus on operational excellence, fiscal integrity, and student-centered outcomes. She holds an MBA from Cal State San Bernardino, along with certifications in Procurement and Risk Management. Tiana previously held leadership roles in Del Mar Union and Murrieta Valley school districts and has served as a Board member for both the North County Educational Purchasing Consortium and the California Association of School Business Officials. Her “why” is deeply personal. Her father, a K-12 Music Director, believed the arts were a powerful way to cultivate cognitive growth. He saw music as more than performance, but as a way to build confidence, discipline, and connection. That belief continues to shape how Tiana approaches her work today, grounding her leadership in purpose, empathy, and responsibility beyond the numbers. Tiana and her husband live in North County San Diego, and their adult son is just one city over. As a family, they enjoy riding motorcycles, taking road trips, and exploring off-road jeep trails. She is always up for the adventure, but gladly leaves the more extreme activities to her husband and son. |
