Spring Break Camp Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dates for Spring Camp?

• Spring Camp will operate from Monday, March 30st, 2025- Friday, April 10, 2026.
• San Miguel location will be closed March 31st for district holiday.

Where will Spring Camp be located?

• We are partnering with 2 community partners for Spring Break. You will have the opportunity to select your preferred camp location. If your preferred choice cannot be accommodated you will be enrolled at the alternate location.

Location: City of Lemon Grove Recreation Center

Operating Hours: 6:30am-6:00pm

Operating Dates: March 30st-Aprill 10

Grades: Grades K-6

Location: Jackie Robinson YMCA

Operating Hours: 7:30am-5:00pm

Operating Dates: March 30-April 10

Grades: 2-6

Address: 151 YMCA Way San Diego, CA 92102

Location: San Miguel Elementary School (hosted by Jackie YMCA)

Operating Hours: 7:30am-5:00pm

Operating Dates: March 30-April 10 (closed March 31st for district holiday- Cesar Chavez Day)

Grades: TK-1 and Adaptive Students

If my child currently attends ELP do I need to apply for Spring Camp?

• Yes- All families interested in Spring Camp must complete an application.

How do I apply for Spring Break Camp?

• The application is available via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you have not set up your parent portal account yet, CLICK HERE to create your account. 

What grade levels can participate in Spring Camp?

• The Spring Camp is open to Lemon Grove School District students in grades TK-6th grade. Due to funding guidelines priority registration will be provided to unduplicated pupils.

Is there a fee for Spring Camp?

• Spring Camp is available free of charge for current students in Lemon Grove School District.

Will meals be provided at camp?

• Spring Camp will include breakfast and lunch for all campers. You are welcome to send your child a healthy snack.

What is the student-to-staff ratio?

• The student-to-staff ratio for TK and Kinder is 1:10 and 1:20 for 1st-6th grade students.
