2026 Amplified Summer Intersession Program


The Lemon Grove School District Expanded Learning Program
will offer a FREE Summer Program from June 22-July 17, 2026.
Application window now OPEN until May 8th 11:59pm!
FREE Summer ELP programs open Monday, April 13th at 6:00PM! 
Applications will open on 6Crickets Parent Portal on April 13th and close on May 8th.
 
Note: Applications will NOT be through Infinite Campus. Families can access the 6Crickets Parent Portal on the LGSD ELP website. 

Amplified Summer 2026 Intersession June 22 through July 17
  • Option 1: 4-Week Morning Academic Program at San Altos 8:00am-12:00pm
  • Option 2: 4-Week Morning Academics AND Afternoon Enrichment at San Altos 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Option 3: Weekly Full-Day Enrichment Camp at YMCA Jackie Robinson 7:30am-6:00pm (Families can apply for one, two, three, or four weeks.)

What are the dates for the Summer Program?
  • The Amplified Summer Intersession Program will operate from Monday, June 22-Friday, July 17, 2026. (There will be no program on July 3, 2026)
 How many days can my student miss?
  • While there is no attendance penalty during the Summer Program, we highly encourage for families to have their students attend as many days as possible. Given the short duration of the program and number of families on the waitlist, consistent attendance helps us make the most of this opportunity for all students. 
 
How do I report my student's absence?
  • If your student will be absent, please report it to your summer site's designated secretary at (619) 825-5645.

San Altos and Jackie Robison YMCA
What program options are available?
There are three program options:
  • Option 1: 4-Week Morning Academic Program at San Altos 8:00am-12:00pm
  • Option 2: 4-Week Morning Academics AND Afternoon Enrichment at San Altos 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Option 3: Weekly Full-Day Enrichment Camp at YMCA Jackie Robinson 7:30am-6:00pm (Families can apply for one, two, three, or four weeks.)
If my child currently attends ELP do I need to apply for Summer Program?
  • Yes- All families interested in the program will need to complete an application in the 6Crickets Parent Portal.
How do I apply for the Summer Program? 
  • The application will be available on 6Crickets Parent Portal. Once you are logged in, click on "School store" then "Shop"! If you have not set up your parent portal account yet, CLICK HERE to create your account.
What grade levels can participate in the Summer Program?
  • The Summer Program is open to current Lemon Grove School District students in grades TK-7th grade.
Is there a fee for the Summer Program?
  • The program is available FREE of charge to current TK-7th grade students in the Lemon Grove School District.
Will meals be provided?
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students.
What is the student-to-staff ratio?
  • The student-to-staff ratio for TK and Kinder is 1:10 and 1:20 for 1st-8th grade students.
