Current Project: The Early Childhood Education Center

Step onto the grounds of 8425 Palm St, Lemon Grove, CA 91945,
and you'll witness the birth of a remarkable vision. This location is
soon to be the home of the Early Childhood Education Center, a
beacon of learning and growth for our community's youngest
members. But for the next several months, this spot will undergo a
dynamic transformation – one that will see it evolve from an empty
canvas into a vibrant hub of education and inspiration. As the
construction journey unfolds, we invite you to follow along and
witness the magic of progress that will shape the future of early
childhood education in Lemon Grove. 

Design: Began December 2022:

In December 2022, the seeds of innovation were sown as
the design phase of the Early Childhood Education Center
took its first steps. This phase was a dynamic collaboration
of minds, where architects, educators, and community
members united to shape a space that would inspire young
learners. Every curve, every color, and every corner was
meticulously planned to create an environment that would
foster curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Construction Anticipated: September 2023:

Anticipation fills the air as we eagerly await the
commencement of construction in September 2023. With
shovels in hand and determination in our hearts, this phase
will see our vision of the Early Childhood Education Center
take tangible form. The buzz of construction will echo the
promise of a brighter educational future for our
community's young learners.

Occupancy Anticipated: Fall of 2024 / Spring 2025:

We are excited to work towards the anticipated occupancy
of the new Early Childhood Education Center. This campus
will highlight the culmination of efforts, dedication, and a
shared belief in the power of education.

 

 

 

Imagine a modern 40,000-square-foot campus designed for our
tiny learners' needs. With 16 vibrant classrooms that ignite
creativity, a multipurpose room that encourages teamwork, and a
cozy library building that sparks the love for reading, every nook
and cranny has been thoughtfully crafted.

 

This achievement is made possible through a strong partnership
with industry leaders like VanPelt Construction Services, CORE
Construction, and PBK Architects. With an investment of $38
million, we're creating a nurturing space where up to 380 children
can thrive and grow. And guess what? Solar panels and car
charging stations will also be part of our commitment to a
sustainable future!

As the sun sets on August 29th, 2023, we're coming together to
celebrate the official start of construction – a milestone that ushers
in an exciting journey toward empowering the next generation of
learners. It's a moment of unity and excitement that you won't
want to miss.

Get ready for enlightening talks by representatives from Lemon
Grove School District, construction experts, and architects. Our
"Little Lemons" – the very students who inspire this project – will
also be there to showcase their spirit of learning and togetherness.
